The Club
A Hunting Club in the Arkansas Delta
EZ Club LLC was established in 2024. We sell membership day-hunt packages for specklebelly hunting on a plantation in the Lake Village, Arkansas area. A day is booked by the gun, up to four guns, and housing, your guide, and a trained retriever come with it.
Specklebellies are white-fronted geese, and most hunters just call them specks. We're a young club, and there's a good deal we'd rather tell you on the phone than write out here.
Why the Birds Are Here
Specklebellies have not always wintered here. Over the past two decades the birds have shifted off the Texas and Louisiana coast into the Mississippi Alluvial Valley, the Delta country Lake Village sits in. Rice is the reason. They feed heavily on waste rice left in harvested fields, and Chicot County planted more than 28,000 acres of it in 2023. Arkansas Game and Fish pays farmers to leave stubble untilled and keep fields flooded through winter for waterfowl.

Finding Us
Finding Us
The camp is at 1322 W Highway 144, Lake Village, Arkansas 71653, in the southeast corner of the state. Flying commercial, the closest airport is Greenville Mid-Delta (GLH) in Mississippi, about 28 miles and 35 minutes away. Flying yourself in, Lake Village Municipal (M32) is two miles from town.
